Judith Talavera is a Manager of State Governmental
Affairs for AEP Texas. As part of the company's
Governmental Affairs team based in Austin , she
represents the company's interests before the State
Legislature. This includes the AEP Texas operations
in west and south Texas as well as sister company
Southwestern Electric Power Company's operations in
East Texas. Judith is originally from Houston and
graduated from the University of Texas at Austin .
She also has completed the Leadership Texas program
from women and the AEP/OSU Strategic Leadership
Program sponsored by AEP and Ohio State University .
Judith worked for a state senator from the Houston
area for seven years, completing her tenure there as
legislative director. She has been with AEP Texas
for the past six years. |
